Ifa Oracle

The Oracle of Ifa divination is a system while a set of beliefs that form the philosophy of his whole theological system.

IFA is the path of light and Oracle, the most important of the Yoruba Religion composing. Many times it was called to the same oracle Ifa.

Originated among the Yoruba, a West African ethnic group, this system is believed to have more than 5,000 years. This is the source of all the secrets concerning the life and spiritual evolution. The Babalawo (father of secrets), its high priest, is the only qualified to consult the oracle, and get answers from the Orisha of divination, or Orunmila Orunla (witness to creation) and to guide people in the correct interpretation of their responses.

The divination system allows priests to invoke Orunmila Ifa, the Orisha of wisdom and ethics and Eshu, messenger of the gods who gave his ashe so you can know the future and provide direction to those seeking a path or guide their lives.

The Ifa divination rites provide a path of communication between the spiritual and ancestral world.

The IFA divination system was added in 2005 by UNESCO in the list of "masterpieces of oral and intangible heritage of humanity.
