Mpungos of Palo

Relations of Palo Mpungos or Nkisis and its association with the Yoruba pantheon.


1. LUCERO. Cuba yende or Lucero is the messenger of God and the guardian of the roads. Elegguá is associated with the Regla de Osha-Ifa. It is represented as children, cheat and often impetuous. Its emblem is a doodle.
2. WATARIAMBA. This Nkisi is related to fishing and hunting, also the justice and prison. He was associated with Oshossi.
3. SARABANDA. Nkisi iron, blood, war and divine vengeance. It is associated with Oggún in Santeria.
4. MPUNGO MUNALEMBE. Mpungo of fate and divination, he is associated with Orunmila.
5. SHAKE EARTH. Creator of the earth and mankind, governs the universe. It relates to Obbatalá.
6. MAMA SHOLA. Mama Shola Shola or Wenge rules over the rivers, love and beauty. He was associated with Oshun.
7. MOTHER WATER. Mother Water or Baluande is Nkisi Ocean, motherhood and creativity. It is related to Yemaya.
8. Seven Rays. Seven is the ray or Nkisi Nsasi who has dominion over lightning and fire. He is the personification of justice, passion and inspiration. It is associated with Shango.
9. SPARK. Centella or Mariwanga rules in cemeteries, in the winds and the market. It is associated with Oya.
10. TATA Nfumbe. Also called Coballende, Yaga Pata, Pata Puri is the Nkisi of epidemics and diseases. It is associated with Babalu Aye.
11. NANA BURUKU. Nana Buruku has the same name in Santeria.
12. STRONG ARM. Nkisi of force and the center of the earth, he is associated with Aggayú Solá.
13. MANKARA. Man.
14. MOANA. Woman.
15. WISDOM WHITE.
16. UNION with Sambi Mpunga.

buenas tardes me pueden sacar de dudas quien es siete sayas en el palo cuando determinan en el palo que esta es la madre de una persona que quiere decir que caracteristicas tiene como se asocia esto en la vida de una persona en este caso yo. gracias..

estimado amigo siete sayas no es un empungo o una didad como se le quiera llamar por lo tanto no puede ser madre de nadie en todo caso pudiera ser un camino de alguna deidad en mi casa ese termino no existe ni como camino de ningun empungo pero pudiera ser que en alguna rama pudiera ser un camino de algun empungo pero nunca podria ser madre de nadie gracias
